According to a semi-canon source, Beldon surmised that Lady Ellyn named her two daughters by her second husband, after the late wife and niece of Lord Gerold, who both died mysteriously, to hurt him. Beldon was relieved when Ser Jason Lannister, another son of Lord Gerold, left Casterly Rock for Feastfires after his marriage to Marla Prester as he could have caused problem for Lord Tytos.
