Billy Burley was a longbowman in the service of House Blackwood during the Dance of the Dragons.[1][2] His name indicates some relationship to House Burley a mountain clan in the north.
Character
Billy was considered the best archer in the employ of House Blackwood during the Dance of the Dragons.[2]
History
Following the Second Battle of Tumbleton, Lord Benjicot Blackwood had Billy mercy kill Tessarion, the she-dragon of the late Prince Daeron Targaryen. From one hundred yards away Billy fired three shafts through the eye of the wounded dragon.[1][2]
