Galtry the Green was a hedge knight during the reign of King Aerys I Targaryen.
Appearance and Character
Galtry dyed his beard green in the fashion of the Tyroshi. He owned a cloak made of a patchwork of many squares of fabric, each a different shade of green.[1]
In the lists, Galtry rode a white stallion with a green plume on his crinet that match the one on his helm. The greaves and gauntlets of his armor had gold inlay. His shield bore his personal arms of nine jade mullets upon a leek-green field.[1]
History
Galtry participated in the wedding tourney at Whitewalls. He faced Ser John the Fiddler in his final joust, losing after ten tilts.[1]
