Ronnel Vance was the head of House Vance during the reign of Maegor I Targaryen.[1] It is unknown if he was the Lord of Atranta or Wayfarer's Rest.
History
After declaring his uncle Maegor I Targaryen a usurper and a tyrant, Prince Aegon the Uncrowned gathered his supporters at Pinkmaiden Castle in the riverlands. Lord Ronnel Vance was one of the several lords from the riverlands to join his strength to Aegon's cause. However, Ronnel died with the rebels at the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye in 43 AC, slain by Maegor's loyalists alongside the prince.[1][2]
On account of Ronnel's support to Prince Aegon, Dowager Queen Alyssa Velaryon later considered wedding her son King Jaehaerys I Targaryen to a Vance, posthumously rewarding Ronnel's loyalty to her late son.[3]
