Recent Events

A Dance with Dragons

The Spotted Cat, along with his fellow pit fighters Barsena Blackhair, Camarron of the Count, Goghor the Giant, Khrazz, Fearless Ithoke, and Belaquo Bonebreaker, accompanies Hizdahr zo Loraq when he petitions Daenerys Targaryen for the seventh time for the fighting pits of Meereen to be reopened. The Spotted Cat explains that his accommodations and meals have declined after being granted freedom from slavery by Daenerys.[2]

The Spotted Cat fights a man as tall as Goghor and as broad as Belwas when the fighting pits are reopened. After hamstringing his slower opponent, the Cat cuts the man's throat.[4]

After Daenerys disappears from Daznak's Pit, the Spotted Cat and other pit fighters serve as Hizdahr's guards.[5][3]

The Spotted Cat is chosen to sit on the ruling council of Meereen along with Goghor, Camarron, and Belaquo by Ser Barristan Selmy, despite the objections of Skahaz mo Kandaq. The Cat suggests that he kill Ser Gerris Drinkwater and Ser Archibald Yronwood in the fighting pits, as the two Dornishmen had aided Prince Quentyn Martell in releasing Viserion and Rhaegal on the city. The Spotted Cat also suggests that he face a Yunkish champion in single combat to resolve the second siege of Meereen.[1]
