Lord Steffon Varner is the head of House Varner in the Reach.

A Clash of Kings
Lord Steffon is part of Renly's force beneath the walls of Bitterbridge. He takes part in the feast.[1] After Renly's death he goes over to Stannis Baratheon and is present beneath the walls of Storm's End for the parley with Ser Cortnay Penrose.[2]
He fights in the Battle of the Blackwater, having his knee shattered and getting captured by forces loyal to King Joffrey I. He bends the knee to Joffrey.[3]
