House Estermont/Family Trees
Due to the contradicting information available about House Estermont, there are several family trees possible. This page lists all the possibilities with their references.

Option 1
Text reference
Information in A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords gives the following family tree:
- {Lord Estermont}, former Lord of Greenstone. An ancient man. Old-fashioned and cautious. Died in 300 AC.[1][2]
- Lord Eldon Estermont, Lord of Greenstone, a man of 70, recently married to Sylva Santagar.[3][4]
- Ser Aemon Estermont, Eldon's son and heir.
- Ser Alyn Estermont, Aemon's son.
- Ser Aemon Estermont, Eldon's son and heir.
- Ser Lomas Estermont, his second son.[5][6]
- Ser Andrew Estermont, Lomas's son.[7]
- Lady {Cassana Estermont}, his daughter. Deceased in a shipwreck with her husband, Lord Steffon Baratheon.[8]
- King {Robert I}, her eldest son. Slain by a boar.
- Stannis I, her second son. Claimant to the Iron Throne.
- {Renly I}, her third son. Claimant to the Iron Throne, slain under mysterious circumstances.
- Lord Eldon Estermont, Lord of Greenstone, a man of 70, recently married to Sylva Santagar.[3][4]
In addition, the information from A Feast for Crows would give the same family tree, if it is assumed that the unnamed Lord Estermont died, since Eldon Estermont is the Lord of Estermont in Feast. No deaths in House Estermont have been described in the family, however.
In A Feast for Crows, Cersei Lannister mentions that Robert Baratheon had a female Estermont cousin who lost her husband and father during the Siege of Storm's End.[9] It is unknown to which degree Robert and this cousin were related. If they were first cousins, then Cassana had another brother in addition to Eldon and Lomas as both survived Robert's Rebellion.

Option 3
Text reference
Information from A World of Ice and Fire and A Dance with Dragons shows that the current Lord of Estermont, Eldon, is Stannis' great-uncle. This would give another possible version of the family's relationships. It suggests that an unnamed and recently deceased Lord Estermont - the one whom Stannis complains has bent the knee to Joffrey - was the father of Cassana, and thus grandfather to the Baratheons, and the current Lord Eldon was his brother.
- Lord Estermont, died in 300 AC

- King {Robert I}, her eldest son. Slain by a boar.
- Stannis I, her second son. Claimant to the Iron Throne.
- {Renly I}, her third son. Claimant to the Iron Throne, slain under mysterious circumstances.
- Lady {Cassana Estermont}. Deceased in a shipwreck with her husband, Lord Steffon Baratheon.
- Lord Eldon Estermont, Lord of Greenstone, a man of 70, recently married to Sylva Santagar.[12][13]
- Ser Aemon Estermont, Eldon's son and heir.[10]
- Ser Alyn Estermont, Aemon's son.
- Ser Lomas Estermont, his second son.[11]
- Ser Andrew Estermont, Lomas's son.
- Ser Aemon Estermont, Eldon's son and heir.[10]
