Jon Lothston is a sellsword in service to the Golden Company. As a serjeant, he is a high-ranking officer.[1]
Appearance
Jon wears his worldly wealth upon his person and a lord's ransom in golden arm rings. Each ring signifies one year's service with the Golden Company.[2]
History
Jon is a Westerosi exile. His surname Lothston was a house that once loomed large in the histories of the Seven Kingdoms. He may or may not be of House Lothston, as in the free companies a man can call himself whatever he chooses.[2]
Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
Jon Lothston and Marq Mandrake exchange a glance when Jon Connington reveals to the highest ranking members of the Golden Company that Prince Aegon Targaryen is still alive, while the other officers remain silent, causing Connington to realize they had already known about Aegon. Like the other officers of the company, Jon swears his allegiance to Aegon before they invade Westeros.[2]
