Mya Stone tells Lady Catelyn Tully that she will wed Mychel, the squire of Ser Lyn Corbray, when he is given his knighthood. However, Catelyn doubts a member of House Redfort would ever marry a bastard.[4]
A Feast for Crows
Mychel cares for Mya until his father gives him no choice and marries the newly anointed knight to one of Bronze Yohn Royce's daughters, Ysilla Royce.[5][3]

Mychel arrives at the Gates of the Moon to compete in Lord Robert Arryn's tourney for a place in the Brotherhood of Winged Knights. He is one of the three competitors who are wed. According to Alayne Stone, he is one of the favorites to win. Mychel's presence in the castle causes sorrow to his former lover, Mya Stone.[6]
