Namegiving for chapters

Currently, for "A Dance with Dragons", we have the chapters like "The Merchants Man" named like this: "The Merchants Man (Quentyn I)". However, in A Feast for Crows, we have done no such thing for the chapters not named by their POV name. Shouldn't we do such a thing there as well? Also, I thought it perhaps a good thing to put a number after each POV, so in the reference list, you can easily distinguish which POV chapter the source is coming from. So for example, when reading the Eddard Stark page, instead of reading that source 17 is A Game of Thrones, Chapter 20, Eddard, and source 18 is A Game of Thrones, Chapter 27, Eddard, you'll get A Game of Thrones, Chapter 20, Eddard IV for source 17, and A Game of Thrones, Chapter 27, Eddard VI for source 18.

Do people agree with these two ideas? (Or with one of the two?)--Rhaenys_Targaryen 15:25, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

The Rogue Prince

I have looked at this template, but this is still beyond my experience, so perhaps someone who understands the build-up of this template could create a Ref for The Rogue Prince before June 17th?--Rhaenys_Targaryen 21:23, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Done ref for "The Rogue Prince" now work --Lord Knightmare 07:52, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Jon Connington chapters in ADWD

I realize that I may have made a mistake in naming his chapters "Connington" instead of "Griff". Shall I change their names to Griff? LuisDantas 21:12, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Do You mean in the chapter names, 'The Lost Lord (Connington I)' and 'The Griffin Reborn (Connington II)' ? In the book it just says 'The Lost Lord', so if you want to add the POV info as well, I dont mind either way and unless someone else mind you decide. (updating the template will update all the pages that use it). --Mor 00:03, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Improvements

I want to add few new features soon, I would love some feedback and/or request regarding the template, regarding ease of use, syntax, whatever, it need not be technical, just say whatever concerns you and I try to address it. Here are the few things I was considering:

1. change the Syntax to be case-insensitive, I people should bother with uper/lower cases, adwd, aDwd, ADWD etc all path are leading to a Dance with Dragons. If anyone want I can make it accept 'a Dance with Dragons' for ease of use, so that new people wont start to guess what adwd is.
2. adding all the Tales of Dunk and Egg, any thoughts on how you want to address those? The Hedge Knight and page?
3. adding the some of the semi cannon info, including the TV show? any thought on how you want it to look like?
4. if someone want I can expand the template to include named variables i.e. {{Ref|book=a Dance with Dragons|Chapter=5|Page=5}} instead of {{Ref|adwd|5|5}}.

I have added support for the Dunk and egg Novellas and the Tv show, along with a few changes to the template to avoid some problems, additionally since its a major template that included on many pages, I have separated the Documentation to avoid unnecessary load on the server when its updated. Please send me a raven if you encounter any problems with references, also further tweaks suggestions are always welcome. --Mor 22:54, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
